| Question #1 | What do you do with the AquaZebo® in winter? |
| Answer: | Over-wintering is accomplished by either drawing the unit onto shore, where possible, or by mooring/anchoring the unit in a sheltered bay with no hard connection to shore. This applies to docks, as well. There is no harm to let the AquaZebo® or any of our floating docks freeze in the ice. Damage to floating elements can occur with movement in the ice sheet while the unit is still firmly connected to shore or during spring break-up when water or wind-driven crushing ice can affect units that aren't in a sheltered location. |

| Question #2 | What wood is the AquaZebo® constructed from? |
| Answer: | The AquaZebo® is made entirely of locally-produced Eastern White Cedar. |
|
| Question #3 | Will the AquaZebo® sink? |
| Answer: | The AquaZebo® cannot sink, per se. It can be submerged if overloaded. Overloading would need to be deliberately planned, and would require approximately 4,400 pounds or about 30 people to do. AquaZebo® was designed to accomodate 6 to 8 people, depending on furnishings. |
|
| Question #4 | Can you put a motor on it? |
| Answer: | Technically, no. It was not designed for this. Practically, you probably could but we strongly encourage you not to. AquaZebo® is not licensed as a watercraft. |
|
| Question #5 | Can you put a hot tub in it? |
| Answer: | Depending on what else you have in it, you could fit a small, soft-sided tub in it. |
|
| Question #6 | How big is it? |
| Answer: | AquaZebo® is 10 feet 'across the flats' of the gazebo or just under 100 square feet. There is 8 feet of clearance from the top of the floor to the bottom of the ceiling collar ties. |
|
| Question #7 | Does AquaZebo® come in different sizes? |
| Answer: | No. AquaZebo® comes in one size only. However, they could be 'villaged'. |
|
| Question #8 | How long will AquaZebo® last? |
| Answer: | You can expect AquaZebo to last 15 years if properly maintained. |
|
| Question #9 | How much water does AquaZebo® need to float in? |
| Answer: | This depends largely on wave size and the water body bottom structure. AquaZebo® only draws about 12-16 inches of water from the bottom of the floats when reasonably loaded. This would typically require a depth of 24 to 36 inches. |
|
| Question #10 | Do I need a permit? |
| Answer: | Every region has its own Conservation Authority that regulates such things as waterfront construction and docks, etc. You should check with your local branch. Because AquaZebo® floats, it typically doesn't. |
